Collect electrical equipment separately
Do not dispose of electrical equipment in household waste. Use a suitable collection point. The crossed-out wheeled-bin symbol indicates separate collection. Correct disposal helps recover materials and reduce risks to people and the environment.
Before returning: data and removable parts
You are responsible for deleting personal data on your old device. Back up needed data, remove memory and SIM cards, and delete personal content. If the device no longer works, ask us about options; returning it does not automatically include certified data erasure.
Separate old batteries not enclosed by the device and lamps that can be removed without damage, unless a legal exception applies. Do not open or damage integrated batteries. If anything appears abnormal, read our battery safety information.
Where can equipment be returned?
Private households can take suitable equipment to municipal collection points. Check local acceptance conditions first.
For retailers subject to takeback obligations, section 17 of Germany’s ElektroG includes free return of an equivalent old device when purchasing a corresponding new device. Subject to legal conditions, small devices with no external dimension exceeding 25 cm must also be accepted without a purchase, limited to three devices per type. Obligations depend on factors including statutory area thresholds.
Distance sales have special free collection requirements on delivery for heat exchangers, screens/monitors and large equipment. Other categories have different requirements for suitable return facilities. This does not amount to free collection of all equipment types.
Discuss a return with Click IT Remarketing GmbH
Tell us the device type, dimensions, and whether a battery is present or damaged. For a purchase-related return, include the order number. We will explain the appropriate route. Statutory free takeback rights remain unaffected; prior contact does not restrict those rights.
Enquire by email · +49 34206 300046. Do not send equipment, especially damaged batteries, as an ordinary parcel without an agreed transport route.
Batteries
Use suitable battery collection points, not household waste. Retail acceptance is subject to applicable legal conditions. Agree transport and acceptance of damaged or swollen batteries with the receiving organisation in advance.
